PostHeaderIcon Keyword Elite – The Easiest To Use Keyword Research Tool?

If you want to be successful online, then you better do the necessary keyword research. And finding the best tools for this task is crucial. The best keyword tools will enable you to quickly come up with relevant keywords and optimize your campaigns in no time.

I would like to introduce you to Keyword Elite, which has been one of the best keyword research software for a long time. With it, you can generate big lists of keywords in a couple of minutes. The software is able to figure out which keywords are part of your target niche and tell you how much competitors are paying for each one. The software works with Google, Bing, Yahoo, Ask.com, and other search engines to fetch the keyword information. In addition, if you are a WordTracker or Keyword Discovery member, you can import your data into Keyword Elite to get more detailed results.

The software also has some interesting spying abilities which enable you to watch over your competition behind their back. Just create a project for each competitor you want to track, and you can watch what they do. This enables you to see what works for them, and copy the aspects of their campaigns that are making them successful.

Although I have seen better looking software out there, the interface is quite functional and works quite well. The many filters are very helpful to drill-down to the info you are seeking. By focusing only on the relevant keywords, you can don’t have to worry about all the unimportant stuff that other programs return.

Keyword Elite is an excellent tool for niche marketers. With the program, you can gather a lot of valuable data on your niche and the products people are buying in that market. By focusing on low competition niches, you can easily enter and dominate that market for yourself.

Keyword Elite does have some areas for improvement. The interface could be enhanced, and it would be nice to have more export formats. The software does not come cheap as it is designed for more successful internet marketers. Even so, there is no recurring fee required to buy this tool so if you are looking to become a successful internet marketer, Keyword Elite is a worthy investment.

PostHeaderIcon Making Money Quick – Keyword Targeting

The technique of “Keyword Targeting” is the fastest, cheapest and most efficient way to make money at home online and to achieve SEO optimization. This method of internet marketing is sometimes also referred to as “Keyword Sniping” – and it is widely misunderstood by most people.

The idea behind keyword sniping is to look for keyword phrases of three or more words which are relevant to the product being sold. These phrases are known as “long tail keywords”.

Yet long tail keywords are also misunderstood by many people. The term “long tail” does not simply refer to the fact that the keyword phrases are long. The term comes from a graph of search volume versus phrase popularity.

Imagine a graph where low-to-high search volume is on the vertical scale and high-to-low phrase popularity is on the horizontal scale. On such a graph you’ll see that the most basic and popular one or two word keyword phrases have high popularity and high search volume (and TREMENDOUS competition). But the longer and more specific keyword phrases tend to have much lower popularity and much lower search volume (and much less competition).

Take the phrase “weight loss” as an example. It would be impossible to achieve page one status on Google with this phrase because it has 347 million competitors. If you lengthen the phrase, however, the competition goes down dramatically. For example, the phrase “weight loss after pregnancy” has 43,600 competitors as of this date. Moving further down the scale, there are only 8 competitors for the phrase “weight loss programs after pregnancy”.

If you were to place this trend on our imaginary graph, you would find that the broad, popular one or two word phrases would be at the very top. You would then see a very steep “suicide ski jump” type curved slope come down as the keyword phrases become narrower and more focused.

The name “long tail” comes from the position of these longer, more specific keyword phrases on the long tail of the graph. These phrases are far more numerous than the short, broad ones, and they each have far less competition. That’s why they are absolutely necessary for any success in making money fast on the Internet.

Of course, they each have far less search volume. But taken together, you can accumulate fairly decent search volume if you have enough of them together in your article marketing campaign. More importantly, you stand a fair chance of ranking on the first page of Google with some of them because the competition is so low.

That’s the theory. Does it work? This is where instinct, intuition and experience each play a role. It is also where most people misunderstand which phrases to target.

Just looking at the competition versus monthly search volume isn’t enough. The truth is that unless you rank on the fist page of Google for your long tail keyword phrase (preferably “above the fold”) you are not going to get ANY traffic. In order to do that, you have to study the nature of the top ten competitors for each long tail phrase you are targeting. If each one has a Google page rank (PR) of 4 or better, and each one has numerous backlinks from credible sites, you are going to have problems.

Those who are experienced in “keyword targeting” are able to do this. They can pick out the phrases that have a good balance of competition versus search volume, yet can compete for a slot in the top ten.

How? I’ll discuss the parameters they look for and the tools they use in a future article.

PostHeaderIcon Effective Ways to Build Backlinks to your Site

A critical part of any website marketing strategy is backlinking, or building of back links. A back link can be described as a link from another website linking back to your website. Backlinking is a very important off-page SEO technique because the search engine will assume that because other sites regard yours highly, it is an indication that your site has something worth on offer. Simply put, if another site will like your site, no doubt the search engines will like it too. Here are a few ways to build back links to your site.

- The first, and arguably the favorite for many web masters, is to write and submit articles to different article directories online as it has an in-built power function. Webmasters and people who publish newsletters are always on the lookout for content on different article directories to republish on their websites. They are allowed to do that, but only if they leave the resource boxes and the links of the articles they pick intact. This means that if your article is picked for republication, your back link will go with it hence earn you more than one back link.

- Even though overlooked by many webmasters, writing of press releases and submitting them to different press release websites will also help build back links when a press release is picked and republished in a non press lease directory website. Don’t limit yourself, widen your imagination and turn a day’s happening into news that impact on your niche.

- Take part in forum discussions both in and out of your niche. Note that search engines will give priority to links from websites that have high page ranks, thus you should conduct a thorough research to know which pages rank high. Once you post a form, make sure you include your site’s URL on the identification section, but don’t put it on the comment box, lest you create a bad impression among other forum members and because many forums are moderated, you might have your link removed.

- Submit your website to live website directories. Be advised that these directories will always open, merge, and close from time to time thus you should keep reviewing your site after submission.

- Write and post product reviews on review forums. Well, because you are getting started in building a business, you have to observe some high level of professionalism when doing product reviews. This means that among other things, you shouldn’t just start criticizing and insulting a competitor’s product to give your business an upper hand.

When seeking to build back links, you are only limited by your imagination. Use all the techniques, tips, and tricks that you know of as many times as you possibly can. Note that the World Wide Web is exactly that, wide, and worldwide thus you should also be unreserved and liberal with your marketing strategy too.
